Rob Savette writes science fiction noir that explores the collision of artificial intelligence, identity, morality, and power. Drawing on decades leading technology companies, he created the Hammerfall series to examine not only what machines may become—but what they reveal about us.
Before turning to fiction, Rob spent decades building technology companies, working at the intersection of innovation, business, and human behavior. Those experiences shaped his fascination with the systems people create — and what happens when those systems begin to challenge the people who built them.
As society wrestles with the moral questions surrounding the use of Artificial Intelligence, the idea behind Hammerfall began with a simple question:
What happens when technology becomes powerful enough to change not just the world around us, but the very nature of what it means to be human?
Through characters caught between ambition, loyalty, survival, and redemption, the Hammerfall Series explores the gray areas where right and wrong are rarely simple choices.
Finding Sid Bassett, the first novel in the series, introduces readers to a world of artificial intelligence, hidden agendas, and unexpected alliances. Moral Atrophy, the second book, continues that journey into a world where power, corruption, and morality collide.
When he is not writing, Rob lives in Seattle with his wife, Gerry, and their sons, Jake and Kyle, continuing to explore the stories, ideas, and questions that make us human.
